Brazil (July 21, 2021) — PACCAR/DAF Trucks awarded its best suppliers from DAF’s truck manufacturing facility in Ponta Grossa (PR, Brazil). A total of 35 companies were recognized by their best quality indices, with less than 10 PPM (defective parts per million units delivered).
The manufacturer also considered delivery efficiency using indicators such as lead time and volume to measure each supplier´s performance.
PACCAR stated that “Donaldson Brazil met their expectation for supplying parts and components, achieving 10 PPM or better quality. Since customer satisfaction is the final measure of quality, warranty has also been considered to determine award recipients.”
